Family Guy stops being funny whenever Seth McFarland gets up on his soapbox and starts preaching instead of making people laugh.
I'm a big fan of the show, but there's two episodes I stopped watching because they weren't funny: the episode about gay marriage and the episode about safe sex.
I don't mind when Seth cleverly sticks his liberalism between jokes but when he devotes an entire episode to clubbing us on the head with liberalism I stop laughing and turn off my TV.
